Mission Control: Go to Plan B

Due to the number of diners waiting at Pascal Manale's....we had to abort the first part of our mission (appetizer at one place) which was to eat BBQ Shrimp there. Here is a pictorial journey of the rest of the mission:
Charlie's Steak House a scant one block + behind Pascal Manale's
Substitute Appetizer was freaking excellent
Thin, I repeat thin fried Onion Rings!
What? Yes that is grease rolling off the rings.
Side: Potatoes Au Gratin

20 ounce T-Bone
It came out spitting butter!
Melts in your mouth.

In NOLA, you gotta have a Dixie, C'Mon!

Dessert?
Let's go to:
Chocolate Malted Chip
AWESOME!

A Drambuie at the Swizzle Stick Bar
in the Loew's Hotel
Got to visit with some Cottrell Wedding Guests

Mission Probable

Good Morning Mr. Edwards,
Today's mission is to reacquaint yourself and your lovely wife with the Restaurant scene in NOLA. Should you choose to accept it, we are demanding that you venture out into NOLA in search of four places to eat & drink this evening, one for an appetizer, one for an entree, one for dessert, and finally a place for after dinner drinks. You will be required to file a report with our office and your blog for everyone to read at the beginning of next week.

This tape will self-destruct in fifteen seconds.

Merry Christmas!

I hope that this day finds you in the good graces of St. Nick.
For me it has been quite wonderful.
CJ stepped in as Mrs. Claus and popped a Nikon D40 Camera on me.
Media Man steps up in the world of cameras. Not too shabby.
I am thankful for my family, my friends, you my blog readers, my daughter (& her husband) and especially my loving wife. Life is good on Maple Street.
I wish for all of you the same happiness.
God Bless Us all Tiny Tim

Peace Upon You.

Cordman!

You may want to call him Mr. Cordman!
This guy would flat out knock your a** down and stand over you.
Loved to Gatorload.
Famous for saying to an opposing coach"How do you like this dog and pony show?" as Dawayne Woods was running back the opening kickoff 96 yards in a game between two undefeated teams that we won 62-0.
My son-in-law was on the opposing team!
