The Professor IS Mary Ann

Tabyana Beach, Roatan, Honduras - On the beach in this tiny hamlet in the quiet Honduran city of Roatan a discovery of monumental proportions was made by this erstwhile reporter.

It has come to light that the person pictured above is Mary Ann, I met her on Tabyana Beach and she is a professor from the University of New Orleans.

This answers many of the questions surrounding the cast of Gillian Isle, in particular, the Professor, Mary Ann and the Movie Star.

Whether Jonas Grumby or Willy Gilligan would admit it is left to question. Now, we know that the Professor IS Mary Ann.

Bacon, Bacon, Bacon

Fatback, backbacon, chow, etc. OMG, is this stuff good. Don't even think about sprinkling brown sugar on it and baking in the oven! TDF.
Hand cut in a general country store in Philadelphia, Mississippi owned by Eli and Payton's grandparents. Fry it up and crunch it down.
Hand delivered by his Lloydness..............
Yummy.

Your Honor

After being named Coach of the Northshore All-Stars for the Lake Ponchartrain All-Star Classic the guy on the right said that it was an: "Onnah"
(really Honor, but said in his best Chalmatian, which added to the flavor of it all )

The guy on the left was just happy being with the guy on the right.

Their team played tough for the first eight or so minutes. Then they got BEAT DOWN.

Trickle Down Theory

Start the New Year off with a resolution: Lose some weight!

Yes, the same resolution a couple million people start the year out with, but, with the wife helping me out, I am getting something accomplished.

Go with a tried and true system suggested by the wife = Weight Watchers. It’s a point system, yada, yada, yada.

Some new foods added to my daily diet:

Kashi Cereal – tastes good, high in fiber,
good for you, low in points.

Fiber One Bars – taste great, high in fiber,
good for you, low in points.

Soft Serve Frozen Yogurt at Pal’s – taste great, high
in fiber, good for you, low in points.

Getting the drift here? Bottom line, fiber is your friend; it helps with the digestive process.

Good System, Working Well,
Minor Problems: Fiber = Flatulence.......Clogged toilets....smelly....
Gross, sorry!!

Fear Factor

Fear is a powerful personal motivator
I read that somewhere
I believe it!!
Is it that the more you see in the world,
the more you can be affected by the fear factor?
Once, back in the day (you know, when I was young)
like during the 70's.
Working at the U. S. District Courts,
plodding away like the good old government worker
I was - young - wanted more money and power, etc.
Job offer from a Steamship Company
I had experience in the field
I would be Operations Manager
make more money
"Mr. Big Shot"
I resigned the job at the Court.
Next working day
Reported to my new job
hear from "younger than me" punk guy
he was the Operations Manager
he was making more money than me
less experience
everything wasn't quite how they laid it out
talk with the "boss" man
he himmed and hawed
no I wasn't the Operations Manager just yet
there were some things they had to work out
yada, yada, yada.....
walked out of the job at Lunch time
walked to old job site
asked for my job back
got it
walked back to my new job and resigned.
Crazy, Right?
Point is, when I was young I had NO FEAR (at least it seemed)........as time goes on......I realize I just wouldn't do something like that now.
Back to my question: Is it that the more you see in the world,
the more you are affected by fear?

Media Day

Amateur "Mediaman", yours truly, ventured to the Cajundome in Lafayette to "cover" Salmen's run at a State Championship for Channel 13.

I entered and signed in at the "Media" entrance, you know the same one that Mr. Ed (Daniels) and Juan Kincaid walked through! Yeah, how do you like that! Yeah! Sorry, just feeling my oats.

Slapped on that media pass and pretty much had myself the run of the place. LOL.

Sure I did a few "Stand Ups" and some "Interviews", but, it was all work for this part time, amateur, "Mediaman".

Lots of fun, great working with my Cameraman/Director Dave "The Rave" Williams.

Salmen unfortunately did not fare as well. Totally 180 degrees from their Friday night Big Time Upset. I hurt for those kids and coaches. Hey now, all is not bad, they finished 31-4 and made the Final Four. Good year for some good kids and coaches.

Catch some of my work with Dave at: http://www.stpsb.org/channel13_view.php
